Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal is a big valley shaped like a beautiful bowl. The biggest city in Nepal, Kathmandu Valley has approx. 5 million population. There are three beautiful cities within it; Kathmandu city, Bhaktapur city and Patan city. This capital city is the melting pot in Nepal although the Newars are known as the local people. The most of the ancient temples, palaces, museum, houses are here in these cities. Hindus and Buddhist monuments, Christian as well as Muslim monuments are all spread in this city. The oldest pagoda style temple Changunarayan to the largest Stupa Boudhanath, the world's tallest Shiva statue to the Everest view point Chandragiri Hill are also within
Kathmandu Valley.
The three-day heritage tour will cover 6 UNESCO sites. Visiting Swoyambhunath Stupa will offer an amazing view of the Kathmandu valley and if the weather is on our favor. the mountain peaks will greet us. Patan is the ancient city with full of pagoda temples, Shikhar temples and Mahabihars (Newari Buddhist Monastery). Likewise, We visit Bhaktapur, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath. The Kathmandu Durbar Square is on a walking distance and the home of the living goddess, Kumari.
