Being so near the Tibetan border, Manaslu region falls under the category of Restricted Area for trekking. Due to this it still lacks the huge quantity of foreign trekkers visiting it when compared to other popular trekking regions such as Everest and Annapurna region.

Bordered by the Marsyangdi River and Budhi Gandaki River, one can even consider Manaslu region as a place of extreme adventures.
