Lukla – Phakding  

After 45 minutes of scenic flight from Kathmandu, trekkers will land at Lukla, the gateway of Everest Base Camp Trek. Lukla is situated at the elevation of 2,860 m. Lukla is situated at the top of a hill where trekkers can enjoy snow-capped mountains. From Lukla, you will head toward Phakding, which is situated at the elevation of 2,651m/8,700ft. The distance between Lukla and Phakding is 9 km. Around 3 to 4 hours trek will take Phakding from Lukla.

Phakding to Namche Bazaar

From Phakding, trekker should continue trek ahead to Namche Bazaar, at the elevation of 3438m/11280ft.  On the way to Namche Bazaar, trekkers will get chances to encounter with the Sagarmatha National Park. By following the diverse landscapes and spectacular lush forests, small charming streams, waterfalls and finally reach to Namche Bazaar. The distance between Phakding to Namche Bazaar is 12km and it takes around 5 to 6 hours to trek.

Acclimatization hike at Namche Bazaar

In the 3rd day of the trek, trekkers will stay for acclimatization at Namche Bazaar, at the same altitude. If trekkers desire then they can make the short hike to Everest view Hotel for stunning Himalayas views. Trekkers also can enjoy local cultures and ethnicity.

Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

Continue trek ahead to Tengboche from Namche Bazaar by following easy and relaxing trekking trail filled with the rhododendron forests. The distance between Namche Bazaar to Tengboche is 10 km which take around 5-hour trek to reach to Tengboche. As you reach to Tengboche, you will get chances to explore the largest monasteries in the Khumbu region.

Tengboche to Dingboche

Dingboche to Lobuche

Lobuche to Gorak Shep to Everest Base Camp

Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar to Pheriche

Continue trek ahead to Pheriche, which is situated at the altitude of 4,288m/14,070ft. Around 7 hours trek will take you to the Pheriche by following the famous viewpoint Kalapathar, at the elevation of 5545m. As you reach Kalapathar, you can enjoy striking views of the Himalayas including Mt Everest, Mt Lhotse, Mt Nuptse, Mt Chagatse, and the Pumori among many other peaks.

Pheriche to Namche Bazaar

From Pheriche, trekkers will trek back to Namche Bazaar with the stunning views of the Himalayas. In this day, you will trek around 5 to 6 hours to reach Namche Bazaar at the distances of 14 km from Pheriche.

Namche Bazaar to Lukla

From Namche Bazaar, trekkers will trek ahead to Lukla by following the beautiful suspension bridges and steep trails. Around 7 to 8 hours trek to make your final day of trekking. The distance between Namche Bazaar to Lukla is 15 km.
